Gin & Tonic Recipe with a Tropical Twist February 6, 2017
When I think of gin and tonic, I think of scorching hot summer days. But as such a British favourite, it seems a shame to forego a lovely G&T just because the sun’s not out. So, don’t worry – I’ve found a loophole… just add some seasonal winter fruit like blood orange, and you’ve transformed a Summer classic into a Winter delight.
- 50ml gin
- 70ml fresh blood orange juice
- 2 dashes orange bitters
- 120ml tonic water
- Fill a glass with ice. Add gin, blood orange juice, and orange bitters.
- Top with tonic water and gently stir.
- Garnish with a blood orange slice and serve.
