Five Cocktail Recipes You Need to Try This Summer
June 18, 2020Now more than ever we are at the mercy of the ever-changing British weather as we holiday in our back gardens.
One thing is for sure though, whether or not the sun is shining, sipping on a refreshing cocktail will instantly transport you to sunnier climes.
We’ve partnered with our friends at Monin to create five delicious classic cocktail recipes using their hibiscus syrup. It’s sweet and tangy with a subtle floral flavour, making it perfect for cocktail making.
So, shakers at the ready, because here are the recipes!
Hibiscus Collins
Zutaten
- 50 mls London Dry Gin
- 15 mls MONIN Hibiscus Syrup
- 10 mls Lemon Juice
- Soda Water
Instructions:
- Add cubed ice to a glass.
- Add Gin, MONIN Hibiscus syrup and Lemon Juice.
- Top with soda water and stir to mix the drink evenly.
- Garnish with a lemon wedge.
Hibiscus Mule
Ingredients:
50 mls Vodka
15 mls MONIN Hibiscus Syrup
2 Lime Wedges
Ginger Beer
Method:
Squeeze lime wedges into glass, add Vodka, MONIN Hibiscus syrup and Cubed Ice. Top with cubed ice and stir to mix the drink evenly. Garnish with lime wedge.
Hibiscus Mojito
Ingredients:
50 mls Rum
15 mls MONIN Hibiscus Syrup
15 mls Lime Juice
10 – 12 Mint Leaves
Soda Water
Method:
Add Mint leaves to glass, with the Rum, MONIN Hibiscus Syrup, lime juice and crushed ice. Stir gently to agitate cocktail. Top with Soda Water and more crushed ice. Garnish with Mint Sprig.
Hibiscus Margarita
Ingredients:
30 mls Blanco Tequila
20 mls Cointreau
15 mls MONIN Hibiscus Syrup
15 mls Lime Juice
Method: Shake all ingredients with cubed ice in shaker. Strain into glass. Garnish with lime wedge.
Hibiscus Cooler
Ingredients:
15 mls MONIN Hibiscus Syrup
50 mls Pineapple juice
10 mls Lemon Juice
Soda Water
Method: Fill Glass with cubed ice. Add MONIN Hibiscus syrup, pineapple juice and lemon juice. Top with soda water.
