We don’t know about you, but we’ve been on the lookout for something to help us hit the refresh button and spring ourselves forwards into the New Year. We’ve put our heads together and come up with 5 must-try smoothies that are as nourishing and delicious as they are simple to knock together.

Detoxifying, delicious and the perfect thing to kick-start your day, or pull you out of that afternoon slump, there’s nothing like a refreshing green smoothie to get you feeling amazing. Since there’s virtually no cooking required, these emerald gems are super low maintenance and do a whole lot of good for your health.

1. Mojito Loco Smoothie

All the muddled mint of the cocktail. Now with a nutritious swirl of coconut milk…

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Ice Cubes
  • 1 Cup Coconut Milk
  • 2 Limes, juiced
  • 1 Cup Mint Leaves
  • 1 Tablespoon Honey

Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend for desired smoothness.

2. Bravo Avocado Smoothie

Creamy avocado gets an upgrade with energising banana, so save this one for your 3 o’clock slump…

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Ice Cubes
  • 1 Cup Almond Milk
  • 1 Avocado
  • 1 Banana
  • 1 Teaspoon Green Tea Matcha Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Honey

Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend for desired smoothness.

3. Key Lime Pie Smoothie

“Eat your greens” meets “but I want dessert” right in the delicious, wholesome middle.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Coconut Milk
  • 1 Cup Spinach
  • 1 Banana
  • 2 Limes, juiced and zested
  • 1 Dollop Vanilla Extract

Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend for desired smoothness.

4. Kiwi Dream Smoothie

We lovingly refer to this one as superfood heaven.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Ice Cubes
  • 1 Banana
  • 2 Kiwis
  • 1 Cup Spinach
  • 1/2 Cup Kale

Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend for desired smoothness.

5. Tropical Cure Smoothie

Alohaaaa…One sip and you’ll be seeing palm trees.

Ingredients:

  • 11 Ounces Coconut Water
  • 1 Cup Pineapple, diced
  • 1 Banana
  • 2 Cups Spinach
  • 1 Tablespoon Honey

Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend for desired smoothness.
