Our Four 5 Minute Chilli Sauce Recipes

Remember a while ago when our Rob & Keith took on some pretty hot chillies for the HelloFresh Chilli Challenge? Well, because we know that the UK is a nation of spicy food lovers, we’ve got a 4 super easy ways to make your own chilli sauce at home which our delightfully unique chilli sauce recipes. We know that some people can eat hotter chillies than others, which is why these sauces are all different levels of heat. They’ve also got different flavours, so for each chilli sauce, I’ve added things that go well with this sauce from fish and meat to veggies.

They take maximum 5 minutes to make, because most of them just require being popped together in a blender. If you’re not into chilli sauce yourself but you know someone who is, making them these 4 sauces would be such a lovely gift. You could even add a little label on each to say what they go well with.

Why can’t you just say grams, ounces or fluid ounces instead of cup?? There are so many different variations of “cup” that this just makes everything way too confusing. If I was to order online enough chillies to make this recipe, I don’t have a quantity to order because, guess what, online delivery services don’t sell there goods in cups.

If you are going to offer this type of service I shouldn’t have to go to another web page to work out the calculation.

Hi Trisha, I printed out the recipe for the hot chilli sauce above and on reading it discovered that although lime juice is mentioned in the instructions there is no lime juice mentioned in the recipe ingredients list! Can you let me know how much lime juice I need … looking forward to eating some of this hot sauce 🙂
Best wishes,
