Drum roll please…

Welcome to the HelloFresh ‘Recipe Showdown’: The Top 10 Recipes From 10 HelloFresh Countries

Each month, we will be going head to head with our fellow HelloFresh counter-parts across the world (we’re now in 10 different countries!) to find the best-loved customer recipe.

This month, we’re looking for the most popular treat night recipe – burgers. Quick, delicious, and a guaranteed crowd pleaser, there are few things better than a delicious homemade burger recipe. In the UK, our customers are big fans of our juicy pork and apple burgers, whilst our Germany friends have been enjoying vegetarian Halloumi Burgers.

Looking for some burger-night recipe inspiration? Here are the 10 best burger recipes from 10 HelloFresh countries:

1. The UK: Pork & Apple Burger

2. Australia: Parmesan-Crumbed Chicken Burger

Look out takeaway, it’s time to say hello to your new favourite chicken burger. Whether it’s the crisp panko crumb on the tender breast, the dollop of smokey aioli or the soft brioche-style buns, you’ll take delight in every bite – and best of all you made it yourself!

3. The US: Melty Monterey Jack Burgers

There are a lot of burger recipes out there, we know. But we like to think that this is the burger that tops all burgers, thanks to oozy, melty Monterey Jack cheese and jammy balsamic onions. Oh, and we should mention that this patty comes with breaded zucchini on the side, so you can get your fix of crispy, crunchy finger foods and a dose of veg all in one.

4. Austria: Chicken Burgers with Mozzarella, Spicy Onions & Chunky Chips

Delicate protein-rich chicken breast fillet with a spicy onion in a hearty burger roll and crunchy oven fries – what more could you ask for? This dish has sparked glowing eyes and growling stomachs in our kitchen of ideas and hopefully will convince you and your loved ones.

5. Canada: Chimichurri Burgers with Avocado, Monterey Jack and Cabbage Slaw

Chimichurri—an Argentine herb sauce—is one of the most flavourful condiments out there. We’re making it with parsley, cilantro, lemon, and garlic for a kick. Its brightness perfectly cuts through the burger’s intense richness.

6. Netherlands: Veal Burgers with Fried Egg, Bacon and Potato Wedges

This burger has it all – from spicy red onion to a fried egg and crispy bacon. To prevent your burger from falling apart, you can put a satay stick in it to keep all the ingredients stacked on top of each other. Served with chunky potato wedges and a fresh salad, this a real weeknight treat.

7. Germany: Halloumi burger with Carrot and Beetroot ‘Fries’

Spicy Halloumi, fresh tomato and delicious honey-mustard dressing make this burger a real treat. Served with healthy vegetable ‘fries’ of beetroot and carrot. Let this high fibre and protein-rich dish be your next weeknight treat.

8. Belgium: Burgers with Spicy Green Pepper and Piccalilli

This burger gives you extra kick of spice by baking the green pepper and spreading the ciabatta rolls with piccalilly.

9. New Zealand: Speedy Italian Beef Burger With Caramelised Onions

Tomato sauce is always classic on a burger, but this time we’ve swapped it out for two of our other favourite classics; mayo and caramelised onions. Served with a healthy side salad, you’ll be thanking us all night for this easy, simple and mouth-watering meal.

10. Switzerland: Moroccan Beef Burger

The slight spiciness of the spice mixture ensures the typical aromatic note, which is known from the colourful Morocco. And with a good burger, a delicious onion load, fresh slices of tomato and potato wedges should not be missed!
