Introducing Our Naturally Gluten-Free Preference

November 28, 2017
by Rebecca Down Learn

At HelloFresh, we’re always looking for ways to make our menu more flexible for our customers, so we’ve introduced our brand new Naturally Gluten-Free* recipes! Gluten-free should never mean delicious-free so our chefs have been working hard to create recipes that are as tasty as they are nutritious. So whether you’re cutting back or avoiding gluten altogether, there’s now a preference to suit your specific dietary choices.

These changes can be easily made by logging into your account settings and editing your ‘preferences’ setting. For step-by-step instructions on how to do this, visit our help page here.

*Recipes with no gluten-containing ingredients. Due to our packing processes, we cannot guarantee 100% Gluten Free, therefore this product is not suitable for people with Coeliac disease.

A Few of our favourite Naturally Gluten-Free Recipes:

Orange Glazed Duck with Crushed Potato, Green Beans and Roasted Tomato

Anthony and Cleopatra. Batman and Robin. Love and Marriage. Crime and Punishment. History and literature are full of iconic pairings, but one of our favourites has to be duck and orange. Some might call it retro, we say it’s a classic. With this recipe, you’re going to learn how to melt the fat on the duck breasts. Cheffy types call this ‘rendering’ and it makes the skin lovely and crisp.

Red Thai Prawn Curry with Carrot, Red Pepper and Easy Basmati Rice

You won’t believe this curry took only 20 minutes to cook when you taste its incredible depth of flavour. Rich, warming and packed with fresh, flavourful ingredients, we predict that this recipe will become your weeknight go-to in no time! With homemade food this fast, you can say goodbye to those takeaway daydreams.

Warming Cauliflower Dal with Lentils and Greek Yoghurt

Our customers’ recipe scores and comments make a huge difference to the way our menu planning whiz, Ellie, plans your future dinners. The humble dal is a great example. Of all the Indian recipes we’ve created, this one stands out from the crowd both in taste and pure, body-nourishing warmth.

Parisienne Spiced Chicken with Balsamic Mustard Lentils and Roasted Chantenays

White peppercorns, nutmeg, paprika, clove buds, thyme, cinnamon, basil and bay leaves are the great eight found in our spice of the month, Parisienne herbs. Its fragrant, earthy flavour is a brilliant seasoning for tonight’s roasted chicken, which we’re serving alongside creamy balsamic mustard lentils and sweet roasted carrots. For a dish that’ll warm you from the inside out, this is the one!
