Why can’t you just say grams, ounces or fluid ounces instead of cup?? There are so many different variations of “cup” that this just makes everything way too confusing. If I was to order online enough chillies to make this recipe, I don’t have a quantity to order because, guess what, online delivery services don’t sell there goods in cups.

If you are going to offer this type of service I shouldn’t have to go to another web page to work out the calculation.

Jane Earle says:

Hi Trisha, I printed out the recipe for the hot chilli sauce above and on reading it discovered that although lime juice is mentioned in the instructions there is no lime juice mentioned in the recipe ingredients list! Can you let me know how much lime juice I need … looking forward to eating some of this hot sauce 🙂
Best wishes,
Jane

Hi,

Would I be able to make this with rice flour instead of coconut flour? I’ve run out of coconut flour, but I’ve got rice flour in my cupboard!

Thanks,

Sarah 🙂

Trisha says:

hi guys!! Sorry about that – it was a typo, it’s definitely coconut flour and not rice flour.

thanks!

Sarah Coleman says:

Sorry, I just noticed further up that you mentioned rice flour….oops!

Dorothy Kennedy says:

It says use rice flour….but its not mentioned in the recipe! It says coconut flour?

Lisa Pye says:

We love your boxes, would love the option of a desert now and again.

Nick says:

Recipe says coconut flour…. Description says rice flour! Which is it?

Lynne Beabey says:

Does the mixture go into a 1 or 2lb loaf tin? Can’t wait to try it out!

Solo4two says:

In the description you say you use rice flour, but in the list of ingredients coconut flour is mentioned…. So which one is best? Thanks! Looks yummy 🙂

Andrew Sale says:

Love the gluten and sugar free puds!!

Rachel says:

There is not any rice flour in the recipe.

Lynne Beabey says:

You mention using rice flour yet the recipe only states coconut flour?

susan says:

Can I get coconut flour and coconut oil from my local supermarket or do I need to do to a specific shop

Trisha says:

Hi Susan,

Depending on the supermarkets you have locally and how big they are. Tesco and Waitrose both stock Sukin Coconut Flour – but they have to be fairly large branches. Coconut oil is available in most supermarkets. Just make sure it’s virgin. If you live near any Sri Lankan or Indian supermarkets, they would probably sell both too.

I hope that helps!

Trisha

Rea says:

Hi,

I just made this and the inside is quote soft even after leaving it in the oven for 1 hour!
It looks very much like a wet sponge and it looks too eggy….
why could that be?

Trisha says:

Hi Rea,

So sorry to hear that! I can’t imagine why this would be. What kind of oven do you have? And which setting was it on?

Lucie says:

It’s so yummy! Do you know the carlories per slice? Interested to see how much I can eat before feeling guilty

Trisha says:

Hi Lucie,

So glad you like it! This recipe is actually from Nadine in marketing, so I’m not sure about the calories. And I guess it depends on how big the slice is :p

Sarah Coleman says:

Hi Trisha,

I noticed your reply about the recipe using coconut flour and not rice flour, but would it work using rice flour? I want to use my rice flour up rather than buying coconut flour especially for this recipe 🙂

Thanks,

Sarah

Victoria Bream says:

Why are the measurements in cups ? Very american and so confusing !

lj says:

I love that I can offer this to my doggy as well!

lj says:

(I didn’t put any chocolate or nuts in 🙂 )

Debra says:

Do you need coconut oil? Any alternatives? Thanks

Trisha says:

Hi Debra, You can use the equivalent amount of butter too or vegetable oil

Maria says:

Hi, I find that using coconut flour doesn’t work well. It makes the dough very dry. I used some almond milk to see if it improved but the result wasn’t what I expected. How can I use coconut flour with better results?

Hey Bill, now I start to get it. In 2001 Finals, Ty Lue gave AI fits. Ty was quick and always in the Answer’s pants (fui)ratgvelyi. Is there anyone out there, who could come in for the rest of the season, just to slow down the Pauls, D-Wills, Parkers and if we get that far, the Rondos of the world? Wouldn’t that be better than Farmar not having enough pride to take it seriously? Is this a coaching problem? Could you comment why Boston does this so much better? Are we basically screwed?

Undeniably consider that that you said. Your favorite reason seemed to be on the web the simplest thing to
consider of. I say to you, I definitely get irked whilst other people think about
worries that they just do not know about. You controlled to hit the nail upon the highest and also outlined out the whole thing with no need
side-effects , other folks could take a signal. Will likely be again to get more.
