As it’s Father’s day this weekend, I am even sharing my favourite french toast recipe with you. It’s super seasonal with the homemade rhubarb syrupy jam. If your dad has a penchant for rhubarb or french toast, it will be the perfect breakfast in bed!

Here’s a sneaky peak to whet your appetite:

As per usual, here are our favourite food related articles from around the web. This week they have all got something a bit fathery about them:

    1. Are you on a bit of a budget this Father’s day? Can’t afford that Mercedes he’s been wanting? These homemade chocolate truffles are pretty much as good!
    2. Is your dad a fruit lover? Surprise him with this wacky, tropical looking breakfast in bed idea:┬áit’s a whole papaya of fun!
    3. Pork chops are popular the world over with dads. No doubt the addition of pickled blueberry sauce will go down a treat!
    4. For a Summer recipe that will wow not just your dad, but your whole family, here’s an amazing (and easy) tart. It’s the best way to outshine your siblings… čÖé
    5. This super cute dad comic by illustrator Liz Climo – she’s awesome. Share┬áthis to your dad for extra brownie points!

    Where to eat this weekend

If you want to take your dad for a chilled lunch somewhere – particularly if he has a taste for Japanese ramen and Sushi – head down to┬áTonkotsu┬á– it’s on Dean street in Soho (London). The ramen are amazing! They also have restaurants in Dalston and Marylebone!

    Movie of the Moment

Karl from the global online marketing team has great things to say about The Hundred Foot Journey. If you haven’t seen it, it’s base on the┬ánovel written by Richard C. Morais and it follows the journey of an Indian family who flee India and move to France. It’s all about chefs, restaurants, rivalry and romance. You know, the usual amazing combination!

Have a great father’s day people and an awesome weekend!
