Protein Snacking: Eggs & Avocado

It’s mid January and it’s pretty hard to stay on the path of righteousness when it comes to your healthy eating resolutions. Around the office people are dropping like flies… But you know what they say: You’ll get by with a little help from your friends. In this case, I’m the friend with my healthy snack ideas! Here’s number 1. If you want to reach for the XXL bag of chocolate buttons just say no! Your blood sugar will thank you. Make sure you drink lots of water – a lot of the time when you feel peckish you’re just dehydrated.
Now, this snack is easy to make and moreish.
Protein Snacking: Eggs & Avocado
Ingredients
- 1 boiled egg
- 2 wholemeal crackers
- mashed avocado
- salt & pepper
Instructions:
- mix some salt and pepper into your mashed avocado
- spread on top of your crackers
- slice up your boiled eggs and add on top
- season with salt and pepper to taste
